SIT offers numerous Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Postgraduate Diploma as well as Doctoral courses in various specializations to students. Performance in the Entrance Exam is the basis for the Siddaganga Institute of Technology Admission 2023. Admissions are also made based on performance in qualifying exams. Siddaganga Institute of Technology uses state-of-the-art technologies and helps them imbibe professional ethics and societal commitment so that they emerge as competent professionals to meet global challenges. Siddaganga Institute of Technology admission 2023 offers full-time degrees at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the disciplines of Engineering and Architecture and has an intake of about 1000 students per year across all disciplines. UG Admission 2023

Siddaganga Institute of Technology offers multiple 4-year undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, and a 5-year degree in architecture. 

UG Admission: Course, Eligibility, Admission Details

Admission to the undergraduate programs is made based on the merit rank obtained by the qualified student in the entrance test conducted by the Karnataka State Government (KCET) or COMEDK. The minimum qualification for applying is to have a 50% aggregate in the 12th standard. The reservations are made as follows. 

1. KCET- 45% of the total seats.
2. COMEDK- 30% of the total seats.
3. Management Quota- 25% of the total seats.

PG Admission 2023

Siddaganga Institute of Technology offers multiple 2-year postgraduate courses in the areas of engineering, technology, business administration, and computer applications. 

PG Admission: Course, Eligibility, Admission Details

Admission to the PG courses is made based on the merit obtained in the entrance test conducted by the Karnataka State Government for postgraduate programs (PGCET). The minimum qualification for applying is to have at least 50% aggregate in their bachelor’s degree. Preference is given to students having GATE qualification. 

PG Diploma Admission 2023

Siddaganga Institute of Technology also offers a postgraduate diploma in Biotechnology. It offers additional knowledge in the undergraduate degree and is similar to a postgraduate degree, but without the dissertation.

Admission to the postgraduate diploma course is based on performance in their undergraduate course.

Eligible candidates can apply for various programmes offered under SIT admission. The admission fee for various programmes will be based on SIT fee structure. The steps and instructions are as follows.

• Applicants must give the KCET or COMEDK. 
• The printed application form along with rank card is to be submitted at SIT. 
• Applicants must submit a recent passport-sized photograph, receipt of fees paid as well as all necessary documents.

Placements

CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) is conducting its placement drive for the batch passing out in 2022. As per the latest report, CMRIT placements 2022 observed the highest package of INR 25 LPA, whereas the average package stood at INR 6.3 LPA till April 2022. Further, over 105 recruiters have participated in the placement process and presented 630 job offers to the students. The top recruiters of CMRIT College in 2022 included Wipro, Accenture, KPMG, EY, Amazon, Syncron, etc.

Training and Placement Cell

SIT Tumkur Training and Placement Department with a senior professor, experienced in the industry, as its head. Placement cell conducts for the students to face the challenges of the selection process by conducting periodic general aptitude tests, technical aptitude tests, group discussions, mock interviews, etc., and making them generally aware of the industrial scenario, their role as engineers, etc. Effectively carrying out institute-industry-interaction in terms of mutual contacts, exchange of information & ideas, arranging visits and technical talks from industry experts, etc.

Arranging vocational training for students in suitable industries depending on their aptitudes and skills. Assisting the SIT Tumkur departments in arranging project works for students in reputed industries so that the students get hands-on experience in solving industrial problems.

The alumni of VBSPU are working under multiple sectors, such as Engineering, IT, Sales, Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing, Research and more. Out of all the sectors, a total of 41% of alumni are working in the Engineering sector. Apart from this, 17% and 9% of alumni are working in the IT and Business Development sectors, respectively. Scholarship 1

CMR Students Scholarships -
Students who are joining from CMR Institution to CMR Institution i.e. from CMR PU / +2 to UG programmes and CMR UG to PG programmes. ? This scholarship is apart from the Founder’s Day Scholarship.
For all Courses (UG & PG) will get 10000 Amount.
Social Service - NCC – B certificate will get 10% tuition fee waiver.

Scholarship 2

Single Parent - Child of single parent (Mother only) scored 75% marks at qualifying examination are eligible. The annual income of the mother shall be less than 6 lacs per annum will get 25000 tuition fee waiver.
Documents required - Death certificate / Divorce Copy, Address proof, 12th Mark sheet Income Certificate is Mandatory.

7 Sisters - Students from North East – Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura are eligible for admission in to any of CMRU & CMRIT will get 10000 tuition fee waiver.
