Mai Bhago Ayurvedic College, Muktsar has been setup in the fond memory of "MAI BHAGO" a lady warrior, who infused new spirit among the fugitive soldiers. Hence, the college Owes its origin to the sentiments associated with our great Heroic and Philanthropist traditions and our peerless history. The college is run by Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society (Regd.), Muktsar similarly as GURU GOBIND SINGH JI transformed the helpless "SPARROWS" into ferocious "BAAZ", so does this society. It cherishes the high idea of SERVICE, SACRIFICE & SELF-EFFACEMENT.

Mai Bhago Ayurvedic College, Muktsar was inaugurated in July 1995 by the then Hon'ble Chief Minister of Punjab, S. Harcharan Singh Ji Brar. It is the second college in the north India & only college for the girls in Punjab to study Ayurveda. Our institute is an Unaided, Self-financing Private Ayurveda College serving the society since 1995. Our college is recognized by Ministry of AYUSH New Delhi, Central Council of Indian Medicine New Delhi, Govt. Of Punjab and affiliated with Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur (Punjab).

Dear Parents and Prospective Students,

Mai Bhago Ayurvedic College, Muktsar was inaugurated in July 1995 by the then Hon'ble Cheif Minister of Punjab, S.Harcharan Singh Ji Brar. It is the second college in the north India for the young girls to study Ayurveda. It is an unaided, self-financing private ayurvedic college. Our institute doesn't receive any kind of aid from the Government. The money generated from it is ploughed back into the educational field by improving infrastructure & opening new sister concern dispensaries for the benefit of students and people at large.

Intake Capacity: The intake capacity of students is 60 seats & got sanction vide Ayush Letter No. R13011/06/2014-EP(IM-1), Dated: 03-Aug-2015 for five years.
