Punjab Medical Technical & General Educational Society, Patiala was founded in the Year 1998 with the view to serve the community in the field of education & particularly medical education i.e. too in ayurveda with its founder president Dr. S.L. Arora, M.D.(Ayu.). In the year 2000 the society started a college in paramedical sciences at Patiala but the inspiration was beyond this venture. In the year 2003 the management decided to establish an Ayurved Medical College and therefore aspired to start OPDs in Sri Ganganagar in the year 2004. The admissions to BAMS course could not be made in 2005-06, may it be the sweet will of the Almighty. The dream for admissions to this course came true in the year 2008 when the Ministry of AYUSH (Govt. of India) granted us permission to start BAMS course with an intake capacity of 50 students and Dr. S.R. Rajasthan Ayurved University Jodhpur affiliated our college on the permission of the Govt. of Rajasthan. The college meets all the requirements as per the norms laid down by the CCIM, New Delhi and shall follow all the norms, guidelines and curriculum prescribed by CCIM. This was the result of the hard work put in jointly for this purpose by the members of the society under the guidance of founder president Dr. S.L. Arora.
